From October 16 to 18, 2024, China Outbound Travel & Tourism Market (COTTM) is being held in Beijing. This is an important event in the global tourism industry, which annually attracts representatives of leading travel companies, government agencies and organizations from all over the world. Uzbekistan is actively participating in the exhibition, presenting its national stand.

The delegation of Uzbekistan includes representatives of the Tourism Committee, SUE “National PR-centre”, Uzbekistan Airways JSC, the Intercontinental Hotel, and local tour companies such as “Timurway tours”, “Beyond expectations”,”Skyway”. These organizations are actively cooperating with international partners, holding meetings and presentations to attract tourists from China and other countries.
At the stand of Uzbekistan, presentations of the rich tourism potential and cultural heritage of the country are held, representatives of travel companies hold “B2B” meetings, and also introduce visitors to new tourism destinations and existing tourism potential in order to attract and increase the number of tourists from China.

In recent years, Uzbekistan has become an attractive destination for Chinese tourists. In 2023, the number of Chinese tourists increased significantly – more than 40,000 Chinese tourists visited the country, making China one of the key markets for Uzbek tourism. These figures are expected to continue to grow in the coming years thanks to strengthened cooperation and promotion at international exhibitions. Particular attention is paid to expanding tourism ties and exchanging experience in the field of sustainable tourism, which is becoming increasingly relevant in the world.
