The delegation of the Tourism Committee headed by the Chairman Umid Shadiev took part in one of the largest international exhibitions and fairs in the field of tourism “World Travel Market London – 2024” on November 5-7, 2024.
A stand of the tourism brand of Uzbekistan was presented at the exhibition, where visitors could get acquainted with the rich cultural and historical heritage of the country, as well as with its modern development in the field of tourism, hospitality and infrastructure. Within the framework of the event, B2B negotiations were held between national tour operators and foreign companies interested in new tourist destinations.
“World Travel Market London – 2024” brought together more than 4,000 travel companies and participants from more than 180 countries, including hotel chains, tour operators, airlines and online platforms. About 43 thousand tourism industry professionals visited the event. Uzbekistan traditionally participates in this significant event, emphasizing its potential as an attractive tourist destination.
